About the Bair Island Aquatic Center (BIAC)

BIAC is a nonprofit organization formed in 1999 to offer the community programs in rowing and paddling. We were formerly the Stanford Rowing Club.

BIAC is easily accessible from the San Francisco Peninsula. We have year-round access to protected waters in the South Bay. Our facility offers storage for small private and BIAC shells, a dozen rowing machines (ergometers), weights, a bathroom, and shower facilities. We do not offer rentals at this time.

Whether you are interested in learning a new sport, improving your skills, communing with nature, or racing competitively at local, national and international events, BIAC is a great place for rowing, sculling and paddling on the San Francisco Peninsula and in Silicon Valley.
